It is as if nature itself is fighting to protect that which they seek. The wizard tells of an experiment involving a powerful crystal capable of storing a great amount of magical energy and bending it to the weilder's will. He was leading this research and the big trial was supposed to take place the next day! Does this has something to do with the disaster that unfolded? If that is indeed the case, then the magical energy that guides them has all the answers. Either the end has already come and this is the path to enlightenment, or the same energy that brought about the destruction of both their worlds is now bringing them together for a reason. There is no other path other than onward! Towards the great unknown...
