(Gothic Rock – 1st & 2nd Chronicles) Part I – “The Ink Is Red” Intro (chant, distant drums): “Write it down… in blood and stone. Every crown will turn to bone.” Verse 1: Scribes of fire, hands of fate, They write the names, they consecrate. Kings are crowned, their glory fades, The altar drinks the blood they’ve made. Armies march, the trumpets call, The temples rise, the nations fall. And every name in sacred scroll, Is just a shadow, carved in coal. Chorus: The ink is red, the script the same, New kings rise, old sins remain. Pages turn, the stories weep, History wakes — but never keeps. Verse 2: Prophets cried, the priests denied, The truth was crucified. The lineage burns, the seed repeats, A cycle bound by ancient beats. Every scribe, a silent slave, To the ghosts they try to save. Every crown, a golden chain, That binds the soul to endless pain. Chorus: The ink is red, the script the same, New kings rise, old sins remain. Pages turn, the stories weep, History wakes — but never keeps. Bridge (ritual chanting, echoing voices): “Name after name… flame after flame…” “The blood remembers — it knows no shame.” “Write it again — the covenant’s dead…” “All is written in ink of red.” Part II – “The Curse Rewritten” Verse 1: They said the past was laid to rest, But the grave still beats within the chest. A thousand kings, a single throne, Each one dies — yet not alone. The books are closed, the seals are torn, A new messiah, a crown of scorn. The same old wars, the same old cries, Just different flags beneath the skies. Chorus: The curse rewritten, word for word, The dead still sing, the blind have heard. Through every age, the story bleeds, The ink of blood, the hand that feeds. Verse 2: From Jerusalem to modern walls, From sacred halls to shopping malls, The idols change, the altars stay, We kneel to gods with different names. A mirror world of flesh and code, A digital ark for a dying road. Still the scribes in silence pray, “History comes again… today.” Final Chorus: The ink is red, the script the same, New kings rise, old sins remain. The curse rewritten, the circle spins, The book begins where it always ends. Outro (whispered): “And still they write…” “…and still they fall.” “The chronicles… of blood.”
