Cherry Blossom Glitch

Shiny J-pop / hyperpop hybrid with female vocals, bitcrushed drums and sugary synth leads, Verses stay cute and bouncy with chiptune flourishes and filtered vocal chops; chorus explodes into wide, sparkly pads, stacked harmonies, and stutter edits on key words, Middle-eight leans dreamy and atmospheric, then snaps back with a bright, chopped-up final hook, world, anime

[Verse 1] Boot up Heartbeat loading Pink code raining down my screen First fight Data exploding You dodge every hit like a dream Candy-coated armor on Pixel petals in my hair You say my name It glitches Suddenly you’re everywhere [Chorus] Cherry blossom skies In this brand new world with you We collide Then rise Turning every scar brand new I was built to fight But you rewrite my lines tonight In your eyes I find A cherry blossom glitch inside [Verse 2] Lag spike You’re beside me Hand held tighter than my blade Your laugh Cuts right through me Brighter than the moves we’ve made Boss fight in the distance glows But we steal a stolen kiss Hit points low Yet somehow I keep saving this [Chorus] [Bridge] [whispered vocals] Error Error Falling for you System update Heart breakthrough Bit by bit You patch my fear New world loading You appear [Chorus]
