[Verse 1] I was lost in the dark, Then mercy found my name. God chose us in His Son, And called us out by grace. Not by what we’ve earned, But by His holy plan, To be made new in Him, And stand where faith begins. [Pre-Chorus] Now the chains fall down, And the old life fades away. We’re brought near by blood, And learning how to stay. [Chorus] Walk worthy, child, walk worthy Live the calling on your life Walk worthy, child, walk worthy In the love of Jesus Christ One body, one Lord One hope, one faith, one light Walk worthy, child, walk worthy Till the day is made all right [Verse 2] He broke down every wall, Between the near and far. Jew and Gentile both Can come just as we are. A household made of grace, A temple built to last, With Christ the cornerstone, And peace that holds us fast. [Pre-Chorus] So I bend my knees, For strength in every hour. That Christ may dwell in me, With love and holy power. [Chorus] Walk worthy, child, walk worthy Live the calling on your life Walk worthy, child, walk worthy In the love of Jesus Christ One body, one Lord One hope, one faith, one light Walk worthy, child, walk worthy Till the day is made all right [Bridge] Put on that whole armor When the battle comes your way Truth around your waist And righteousness that stays Shoes of peace will carry you The shield will hold the flame Take the helmet, take the sword And praise the mighty name [Final Chorus] Walk worthy, child, walk worthy Live the calling on your life Walk worthy, child, walk worthy In the love of Jesus Christ One body, one Lord One hope, one faith, one light Walk worthy, child, walk worthy Till the day is made all right
