Tudor Rickards’ Life is Sadness, Life’s a Bitch by GM Jon

V4.5+

Life is sadness, life’s a bitch It don’ matter if you're poor or rich Don’t think all human yearning ends When you get that Mercedes Benz Don’t ask Descartes don’t ask Kant Don’t ask parents or your maiden aunt. Don’t ask a fortune teller, don’t ask a preacher, And whatever you do, don’t ask your teacher Feeling anxious is OK It just might be the only way. Accepting dread is only mental And anxiety is existential What’s the point, what’s the purpose Of this crazy flying circus? How can we overcome our fears As we pass through this veil of tears According to the Psychologist We worry thinking why we exist These thoughts produce in you and me Awareness of mortality Particularly if we concentrate Too often on our common fate Friends around us all can see Our generalised anxiety But hope exists, and turns to bliss If only you can seize on this And think about it without shivering That dying is the cost of living
