Can we turn this all around? Chorus Join with me for a prayer of release Together with God, war can cease Lay it down, let the broken be healed What we surrender is what He reveals Hook Releaseā¦ releaseā¦ let it fall from our hands Peaceā¦ oh peaceā¦ like we were meant to stand [epic guitar solo] Bridge We cry outā¦ but not to each other We reach outā¦ but not for the answer Itās not beyond us, itās above us Itās not too far, itās right here calling Join with meā¦ Final Chorus Join with me for a prayer of release Together with God, war can cease We can have an abiding peace Understanding will increase Join with me, let the whole world see What we become when weāre finally free Final Hook (extended, full choir feel) Releaseā¦ releaseā¦ let it fall from our hands Peaceā¦ oh peaceā¦ like we were meant to stand Releaseā¦ releaseā¦ weāre letting it go Peaceā¦ oh peaceā¦ let the whole world know Outro arranged by Pastor Jon Ā© 2026 Lyrics by Pastor Jon and Eileen Phelps .
