We Walked the Digital Plank - Pirate Street Boys

[Intro] Yo-ho, mateys of the feed, We were ridin’ high on the algorithmic sea... 'Til TikTok said, “Aye, you’ve been seen—now walk the digital plank!” [Verse 1] We dropped the beat, hearts on fire, Trending charts takin’ us higher, But then the screen went dark and still, Shadow tide took our will. [Pre-Chorus, Tight vocal stacks] All we did was vibe and sail, Now our views set out to fail, Comments lost in ocean spray, The mods just laughed and sailed away. [Chorus, Big 2000s boy band energy] We’ve been planked, TikTok got us back, Sunk our ship in algorithm cracks, No SOS, no chance to thank, They made us walk the digital plank. Yeah, we’ve been planked — yo-ho-ho, TikTok waves said “down you go,” Still we sing, our voices rank, We’re the Tor-Pete-Toes — and we’ve been planked! [Verse 2] We used to stream from dusk to dawn, Throwin’ hearts, keepin’ vibes strong, Then came silence, cruel and cold, Our livestream ghosts left uncontrolled. [Bridge, Dramatic breakdown] (Where’d the views go?) (Where’d the crew go?) Sailin’ solo through the feed... No one’s left to watch us bleed. [Chorus, Full band, Harmonized] We’ve been planked, TikTok got us back, Sunk our ship in algorithm cracks, No SOS, no chance to thank, They made us walk the digital plank. Yeah, we’ve been planked — yo-ho-ho, TikTok waves said “down you go,” Still we sing, our voices rank, We’re the Tor-Pete-Toes — and we’ve been planked! [Outro, Fading synths, Vocoder harmonies] Still we sing from the cyber sea... Our hearts afloat in the algorithm breeze... We’ve been planked — eternally.
