When morning breaks And shadows flee Your mercy is Still covering me Before I speak Before I move I place my every Step in You I do not want My stubborn way Or empty plans That fade away Teach my heart To hear Your voice And make obedience My choice I lay down all I cannot hold My fear my pride My need for control Jesus take this Life of mine Let Your purpose Be my sign Lead me Holy Spirit lead me Where Your river runs I want to be Keep me in the Shadow of Your grace Let Your will become My nesting place Use these hands And use this voice Make my surrendered Heart Your choice Lead me Holy Spirit lead me I have walked through Deserts dry and long Still You held me Still You made me strong When I could not See the road ahead Your faithful hand Was where You led So open up the Doors You choose And close the ones I need to lose If there is one soul You want to reach Jesus make my life The words You speak I am not asking for a name I only want to serve You Send me where Your mercy goes To broken hearts And heavy souls Lead me Holy Spirit lead me Where Your river runs I want to be Keep me in the Shadow of Your grace Let Your will become My nesting place Use these hands And use this voice Make my surrendered Heart Your choice Lead me Holy Spirit lead me Here I am Jesus send me Here I am Jesus use me Not for my own praise or story But to reveal Your love and glory Give me eyes to See the hurting Give me feet to go Where You send me Give me words That carry healing Give me faith to Trust Your leading Make me faithful In the waiting Make me humble In the serving Let my life Become an offering Holy living fully Yours Lead me Holy Spirit lead me Let Your presence Be enough for me When the work is done And day is through Let me rest Lord rest in You Lead me Holy Spirit lead me Where Your river runs I want to be Keep me in the Shadow of Your grace Let Your will become My nesting place Use these hands And use this voice Make my surrendered Heart Your choice Lead me Holy Spirit lead me Lead me Holy Spirit lead me Lead me Holy Spirit lead me Lead me Holy Spirit lead me
