EAT THE RAINBOW — Veggie Missy’s Theme Song

+ Show full styles

[Intro]
Who’s that racing down the street?
Leafy cape and boots so neat!
When the world needs something fresh,
Veggie Missy knows what’s best!

[Verse 1]
Red little berries, juicy and sweet,
Vitamin C in every treat.
Crunchy carrots, orange and bright,
Vitamin A helps eyes see right.

Spinach leaves dressed up in green,
Full of good things, crisp and clean.
Peas bring protein, fibre too,
Little green power packed for you!

[Pre-Chorus]
Red, gold, purple and green,
The tastiest colours you’ve ever seen.
Fill up your basket, give them a try,
Veggie Missy’s coming by!

[Chorus]
Eat the rainbow every day,
Crunch it, munch it, your own way!
Fruit and veggies, fresh and bright,
Helping you grow, play and feel all right.

Eat the rainbow, come along,
Healthy can be fun and strong!
From berry red to broccoli green,
Join the adventures of Veggie Missy!

[Verse 2]
Bananas bring potassium,
For busy muscles on the run.
Broccoli trees are small but grand,
With vitamins growing in every hand.

Tomatoes glowing summer red,
With lycopene beneath their skin.
Beans and lentils help you stay
Full of energy through the day.

[Pre-Chorus]
Chop them, blend them, roast them too,
There are so many things to do!
Try one bite, you might just find
A brand-new favourite left behind!

[Chorus]
Eat the rainbow every day,
Crunch it, munch it, your own way!
Fruit and veggies, fresh and bright,
Helping you grow, play and feel all right.

Eat the rainbow, come along,
Healthy can be fun and strong!
From berry red to broccoli green,
Join the adventures of Veggie Missy!

[Bridge]
No fruit is boring, no vegetable small,
They each have a different gift for us all.
Fibre helps keep your tummy on track,
And colourful plants make a wonderful snack!

You don’t have to love each one you meet,
Just keep exploring something new to eat.
A little adventure upon your plate
Might turn into something you think is great!

[Final Chorus]
Eat the rainbow every day,
Crunch it, munch it, your own way!
Fruit and veggies, fresh and bright,
Helping you grow, play and feel all right.

Eat the rainbow, loud and proud,
Sing it together, sing it out loud!
With her leafy cape and rescue team,
Here comes our hero, Veggie Missy!

[Outro]
Fresh ideas and quick on her feet,
Making healthy taste so sweet!
When adventure’s on the menu,
Veggie Missy’s coming through!
