THROUGH THE GATES OF HELL

Latin dramatic orchestral rock with symphonic brass hits, tremolo electric guitar, pipe-organ drones and sub-octave choir; 168 BPM double-kick barrage with breakdown pauses and an accelerating build; gated snare, tape saturation, plate reverb and wide stereo chorus; male chant gang vocals, moving from dark unison to a monumental final chorus

[Intro – Dark Choir]
Dies irae…
Dies irae…
Beneath the stars, beneath the earth,
I crossed the line where shadows birth.

[Verse 1]
Midway upon the road of life,
I woke beneath a dying sky.
The path was lost, the woods were black,
And three beasts stood upon my track.

Then from the darkness, pale and still,
A poet came upon the hill.
He raised his hand and spoke my name:
“Through Hell we walk, through fire and flame.”

[Pre-Chorus]
And far below, I heard them cry,
A thousand souls who asked me why.
The ground began to shake and roar—
I stood before the infernal door.

[Chorus – Huge]
ABANDON HOPE!
The iron gates are closing!
ABANDON HOPE!
The river Styx is flowing!
Through fire, through ice, through endless night,
I walk where no soul sees the light.

[Verse 2]
Across Acheron, beneath the rain,
The dead were screaming through their pain.
Beyond the walls of burning Dis,
The damned were bound to what they did.

The rivers boiled, the forests cried,
While endless shadows burned inside.
Deeper still, through stone and flame,
Each sinner faced their own true name.

[Pre-Chorus – Rising]
My courage broke, my blood ran cold,
But Virgil said: “You must behold.”

[Chorus – Full Orchestra]
ABANDON HOPE!
The iron gates are closing!
ABANDON HOPE!
The river Styx is flowing!
Through fire, through ice, through endless night,
I walk where no soul sees the light.

[Bridge – Dark / Slow]
Then all was silent.
The world stood still.
No fire burned upon the hill.

And there he stood beneath the night—
Three faces burning without light.

LUCIFER!

His wings were beating against the air,
But never moved him anywhere.
He chewed the traitors in his teeth,
While frozen darkness slept beneath.

[Breakdown – Whispered]
We did not climb toward the sky…

We fell.

We fell…

[Final Chorus – Monumental]
ABANDON HOPE!
The gates are far behind us!
ABANDON HOPE!
The darkness cannot bind us!

Through fire, through ice, through endless night,
We crossed the kingdom without light.

ABANDON HOPE!
But Hell is not the end—
Beyond the dark, the stars ascend!

[Outro – Choir / Orchestra]
Down in the dark, beneath the stone,
I found the path that leads me home.

And I looked up…

And saw the stars.
