🎶 Song 90 – From Shamans to Divine Love
Paper 90 – Shamanism, Medicine Men, and Priests 🎶 Song: From Shamans to Divine Love (Verse 1 – Fear and the Unknown) In forests dark, the tribes would hide, The storm was wrath, the gods would chide. From thunder’s roar to lightning’s flame, They bowed in fear, they spoke His name. (Chorus – The Rise of Shamans) Shamans claimed the spirit’s call, Guiding tribes through fear of all. From trembling cries to sacred song, They shaped the path where faith belongs. (Verse 2 – The Shaman’s Power) With painted face and mystic hand, They ruled the tribe, they shaped the land. Through trance and dream, through smoke and fire, They claimed the voice the gods inspire. (Reflection Stanza) Some were true, with vision clear, Others preyed on human fear. Yet through their rites the soul was stirred, Toward higher truths the tribes inferred. (Verse 3 – Healing and Magic) Herbs and chants, the sacred breath, Battling spirits, cheating death. Trepanation, purging pain, Faith and cure were much the same. (Reflection Stanza) Though wrong the cause, the cure was near, Faith itself could heal the fear. Medicine rose from shaman’s art, Science grew from mystic heart. (Verse 4 – Bargain with Spirits) Blood was spilled, the flesh was burned, Sacrifice for favor earned. Shamans bargained night and day, “Give the gods, and they will stay.” (Bridge – From Brutality to Symbol) From human death to lambs instead, From fear of wrath to hope ahead. The altar changed, the tribes were led, Toward sacred law and love widespread. (Verse 5 – Priests and Order) When shamans ruled with secret might, Priests arose to guard the rite. Temples built, the laws refined, Religion shaped the human mind. (Reflection Stanza) From chaos wild to order true, The sacred path was born anew. Though bound in ritual, fear, and pain, The seeds of love began to reign. (Verse 6 – From Sacrifice to Sacrament) Bread and wine replaced the flame, Sacraments in holy name. No longer blood, no longer fear, Communion brought the spirit near. (Verse 7 – Toward Divine Love) From shamans’ fear to wisdom’s call, From priests who ruled with rites for all. The soul ascends, the spirit free, To supra-mortal destiny. (Final Chorus – Universal Love) The spirit of worship lives in man, Guiding hearts since time began. From fear of night to visions bright, We worship God, we love the Light. From forest dark to temple high, To Father’s love that cannot die.
