[Intro] It’s time to party Have a good time Get in that Mustang Just ride [Verse 1] T-tops out Sun’s already loud on my skin Old ball cap Kicked back in the wind Sittin’ at a red light Bass hum in my cup holder Hear you pull up, window down “Sup?” from the shoulder (hey!) [Chorus] Life’s too short not to have fun Let’s put these wheels to the sun Kick that dirt, let the day run Laugh so hard that the night comes undone Life’s too short not to have fun Top wide open on the run You and me, ‘til the gas tank’s done Let’s put these wheels to the sun [Verse 2] Flip that turn Green flash, and we tear off clean Bare feet on My dash like you own this machine Backroads calling Dust drawing halos behind Every mile, every smile Says we’re doin’ it right this time (oh yeah) [Chorus] Life’s too short not to have fun Let’s put these wheels to the sun Kick that dirt, let the day run Laugh so hard that the night comes undone Life’s too short not to have fun Top wide open on the run You and me, ‘til the gas tank’s done Let’s put these wheels to the sun [Bridge] No big plans Just a full tank and a wild laugh If this is all we get I’m good with that Roll that window down Feel the rush, feel the rush Every second screaming out This is us, this is us [Chorus] Life’s too short not to have fun Let’s put these wheels to the sun Kick that dirt, let the day run Laugh so hard that the night comes undone Life’s too short not to have fun Top wide open on the run You and me, ‘til the gas tank’s done Let’s put these wheels to the sun [Outro] T-tops out Yeah, we already won Red light, green light Still chasin’ the sun
