V6

[Soft distant waves, singing bowl] [Spoken, soft, slow] Welcome. Let yourself land. Let the ground take your weight... let the water hold you. Let your tongue rest. Let your teeth part, just a little. [Pause] This is a gentle flush for the jaw — for TMJ, the clench, the grind, the ache by the ears. In a moment, one doorway may open: the first time you swallowed your words... the worst time... the last time your jaw held on... or the worry about the next time you need to speak. Let whichever one wants to come forward, come forward. No digging. No forcing. [Spoken, plain — not sung] If you use a night guard, a splint, or care from your dentist or doctor, this sits beside it, not instead of it. [Pause] [Spoken, slow, unhurried — roughly one count per second, no melody, no rap cadence] Breathe in through the nose... one... two... three... four... ...hold... one... two... three... four... [Spoken, slower here — exhale is unhurried, roughly double the pace of the inhale] Let it leave through a soft, open mouth, like mist lifting off the water... Out... one......two......three......four......five......six......seven......eight... ...hold... one... two... three... four... [Pause] [Spoken, slow, unhurried — roughly one count per second, no melody, no rap cadence] In... one... two... three... four... ...hold... one... two... three... four... [Spoken, slower here — exhale is unhurried, roughly double the pace of the inhale] Out through the mouth... one......two......three......four......five......six......seven......eight... ...hold... one... two... three... four... [Pause] Keep this rhythm on your own for a few more rounds. Each exhale, the jaw hangs a little looser. [Long pause — instrumental] [Spoken, tender] Let your doorway open... just enough. Where does it live in you? The hinge by your ears... the temples... the back teeth... Just notice. The water holds all of it. [Pause] What words are still waiting behind your teeth? And who were they for? You don't have to say them out loud. Just let them be known. [Pause] Maybe you learned to speak only when spoken to. Maybe you spoke the truth, and it was twisted, or no one listened. To the younger you, biting their tongue: your voice was always allowed. It still is. [Pause] Maybe anger got pressed down to keep you safe, and your jaw held it for you all these years. Thank it. It can loosen now. Nothing here needs holding. [Pause] Maybe you carried other people's needs before your own... fixing, keeping the peace. Here, you don't have to fix anything. [Pause] Maybe someone bigger made you let go of something that mattered, with no fair chance to speak for yourself. Let that part of you be heard now. Just here. Just this much. [Pause] What have you had enough of? Let the word rise softly... enough. And if a "no" is waiting — no is a whole sentence. It is safe to say it here. [Pause] [Rising tide] The tide begins to rise... At the base of you, red clay and cedar — steady ground. You are held. You are not trapped. Below the navel, orange water, soft as a rose — let it move. [Toning "Ahh"] Upper belly, golden fire, warm as ginger — old anger turns to calm strength. You can stand your ground. [Pause] [Toning "Ayy"] Center of the chest, green as a garden after rain — the hard shell softens. [Pause] [Toning "Eee"] Throat and jaw, blue as deep water, cool as eucalyptus on the breath — the hinge by your ears unlocks, silt lifting from every swallowed word, washing out to sea. Your words have power. Your voice belongs to you. [Pause] Between the brows, indigo and lavender — clear. Top of the head, violet and gold light, pouring out. [Pause] [Spoken, slow] Now imagine a gentle magnet at the bottom of your chin... sweeping slowly up over your face... over your crown... down to the back of your neck. Drawing the old charge up and out. [Pause] Again... chin... face... crown... neck. Let it go. [Pause] A third pass... slow... the jaw releasing. [Pause] And a fourth... everything that's ready, lifting out. [Pause] [Spoken, warm, matter-of-fact] One more gentle way to let this go — everywhere it began, everywhere it was stored: Right and Wrong, Good and Bad, Point of Creation and Point of Destruction, All Nine, Shorts, Boys and Beyonds. [Pause] [Waves, lighter] Clear water now. A soft jaw. An easy breath. I speak true. My voice heals. I part ways with what I don't need to carry. When you rise, drink some water and let your body move — a slow walk, a gentle wiggle. Keep the river moving. With infinite love and gratitude — and so it is.
