[Verse] Peter woke up late today no plans in sight Grabbed his shoes and out the door in morning light Ran to catch the bus but it zoomed right by So he shrugged his shoulders and took to the sky [Bridge] No map no compass just his beating heart Birds and clouds his only guide a brand new start [Chorus] Oh Peter’s first adventure no room for fear Each step a new discovery laughs and cheers From city streets to rivers clear His first adventure holds him dear [Verse 2] In the park a squirrel became his friend Climbed up trees until they reached the end Found a hidden path that twisted tight Led to a waterfall sparkling bright [Bridge] No map no compass just his beating heart Birds and clouds his only guide a brand new start [Chorus] Oh Peter’s first adventure no room for fear Each step a new discovery laughs and cheers From city streets to rivers clear His first adventure holds him dear
