[Verse 1] I honestly love How perfect you’re not You trip on your words You laugh when you’re caught You burn all the toast You lose every third sock You’re sure you’re on time Then you check And you’re not [Pre-Chorus] You talk in the movies (shh) Cry at the ads You swear that you’re fine Then say “okay, I’m just sad” [Chorus] I honestly love how perfect you’re not If you were truly perfect I’d never get a nod You’re graceful and beautiful Until sometimes you’re not I love that you’re not perfect Either Yeah I love that you’re not perfect Either [Verse 2] You cancel our plans To sit in the bed You change your mind By what someone said You’re jealous Defensive You’re stubborn as stone But you’ll call up a friend Just to walk them home [Pre-Chorus] You’ll lose an argument Even when you’re right You’ll stay just to listen Till the end of the night [Chorus] I honestly love how perfect you’re not If you were truly perfect I’d never get a nod You’re graceful and beautiful Until sometimes you’re not I love that you’re not perfect Either Yeah I love that you’re not perfect Either [Bridge] If you never cracked How would I fit? If you never slipped Where would I sit? All of your edges Match all of mine Two broken patterns Threaded in time (oh) [Chorus] I honestly love how perfect you’re not If you were truly perfect I’d never get a nod You’re graceful and beautiful Until sometimes you’re not I love that you’re not perfect Either Yeah I love that you’re not perfect Either (I love that you’re not perfect) Either
