AGameAWeek Blog - 2024-05-31 - Coloured Balls

This week's game has little fluffy balls! I struggled for a while with this one, initially working with good old 3.5" floppies, before realising I'd done that 100 times before. Instead, then, I wondered about adding little people you had to rescue, but if the other people were as small as the main character, they'd be far too tiny to notice at a glance. And when you're flying through a maze, you need all the noticeability you can get. What to do, then!? I've opted for great big giant fluffy coloured balls! \o/yeay\o/ The game's pretty much playable at this point, but I still kinda need another way to die in the game. I'm currently thinking darts from either side of the screen, but that kinda feels like it might be a bit unfair, especially if you have to keep the Floofits safe from the darts, too. Or would that be .. better? Hmm. Not sure. I might have to have a play to find out. A play with my giant rainbow coloured balls of fluff.
