One Mind, Many Versions
[intro] ( glitchy deep dark voice) “woah baby. Woaah baby! Verse 1] I don’t manipulate people, I mutate my pupils. Change the shape of the truth till the unusual feels usual. Something in the reflection says the difference is crucial. Alter the vision, now the vision gets confused with the visual. Change what they see, now the truth seems delusional. Honest and truthful, But the proof remains unusable. Say out my mind to the court, Witness is not useful. Switch up my mind like I play through these lines. Real moves, no telling what’s concealed in the design. Every version of the story got a different set of eyes. Same mouth, new perspective, tell me which one fucking lies. They say I’m just a waste of time, All because I play in this fire. Playing with wires in the house, Shocked when it’s rebukeable. I only use as recreational, Exceptionally great when speaking, unconventional. Words bend, perspectives shift, the truth becomes questionable. A mind full of contradictions, every thought is sectional. Stop playing with situations where it’s undetectable, Instead grab my testicles, While I play with this rap, unintentionally. Am I rambunctious or nah? I’m rambunctious and all, It’s infectious and raw. Every line leaves a mark, every word bends the walls. While questioning my methods, The reflection never recalls. One mind, many versions, now the whole room gets involved. [Verse 2] I got a face full of answers, but the questions keep breeding. Every time I find the truth, there’s another one leaving. Got a mind like a maze with the walls rearranging, Same voice in my head, but the tone keeps changing. I put my thoughts on trial, let the evidence speak. Then I cross-examine myself till the judge looks at me. Who the fuck needs a witness when the witness is biased? Who the fuck needs a mask when the face underneath lies? I make a home in the doubt, let the uncertainty settle. Turn a thought to a theory, turn a theory to metal. Every word got a shadow, every shadow’s got teeth. I can hear what I said, but it’s not what they see. I don’t need to be understood, I need the words to connect. Put a crack in the mirror, watch the image dissect. Is it truth or illusion? Is it instinct or design? Is the voice in the verse mine, or the verse in the mind? I’m the question and answer, the defendant and judge. I can turn a little truth to something nobody trusts. They keep asking who I am like the answer’s gonna change. I keep writing different names on the inside of the frame. [Outro] One mind, many versions. Same eyes, different person. Truth bends, words bleed. Who sees what they believe?
