12-Nero-Take Off the Mask(Ft.Diana)

I learned to wear a colder face. Less feeling.Less risk. If nobody saw what mattered, nobody knew where to hit. I became the one who never cared, Never shook, never stayed too long. Turned every wound into sarcasm, Every weakness into something strong. I walked into rooms like nothing touched me, Kept my answers sharp and short. People called it confidence. Really,it was armor I couldn't afford. The mask worked. That's why I kept it. But protection has a price. If nobody can reach the real you, eventually neither can you. Take off the mask where the room is safe. Let your real voice have a little space. You don't owe the world everything underneath. But don't forget the face you learned to never let them see. I got good at playing distant, Good at making silence look like choice. Good at walking past the question, Good at killing my own voice. Somewhere between survival and the man I played each day, I stopped knowing where the act ended and where I began again. The mask was never the enemy. It carried you through the dark. But something built for survival shouldn't become your only heart. Take off the mask where the room is safe. Let somebody meet the person you erased. You don't owe the world every scar beneath. But don't forget the face you learned to never let them see. Maybe I keep some armor. Maybe I still watch the door. Maybe trust comes slowly. That's fine. But I don't want to spend another year pretending I feel nothing just because feeling once hurt. Take off the mask when you're ready to breathe. You can choose who stays. You can choose who sees. Keep your boundaries. Keep what kept you alive. Just don't bury the real you inside the disguise. The mask saved me once. It doesn't own me now.
