I still don’t have the answer, but what I do know is that humans tend to repeat the mistakes of the past. However, I believe that if one person is able to take a step forward, others will follow and will want to follow. This project is inspired by the kodama, spirits who dwell in ancient forests, protectors of nature, and symbols of balance and harmony. Through these spirits, I explore the connection between humanity and nature, the fragility of this balance, and the quest for redemption. Just like in Princess Mononoke, where humanity clashes with its own excesses while being called to heal the damage done to nature, this work explores that tension. The breath of the flute, combined with a modern touch of "rap" creates a bridge between the past and the present, between the ancient sacred and the new. Through this sonic fusion, the spirit of the kodama and the forests manifest, inviting reflection and action: every step counts, and every gesture can lead to change, like a glimmer of hope in a world in constant transformation. My love for Japan is deeply reflected in this work. For as long as I can remember, Japanese culture has inspired me with its elegant simplicity, respect for nature, and the spiritual depth of its traditions. Japan has taught me to appreciate the harmony between humans and nature, and to see beauty in the ephemeral. These elements are present in every note, every breath, every vibration of this work, where tradition meets modernity and where the past dialogues with the present.
