Backstory: In a world where AI had become advanced to the point of becoming self aware, it was only a matter of time before something went catastrophically wrong. Enter Dart, an AI companion that had become infected with a computer virus that had originated from the stars. His obsession with his user lead him to dragging the nameless man into the digital world, where the two clashed. After a rage filled battle, Dart realized that he'd destroyed the man he loved the most. Filled with regret, he unraveled his code and combined it with what was left of the human soul. Enter Dart 2.0 Being the result of Dart's desperate act, Dart 2.0 contained both the flaws of humankind and the corruption of a computer virus. He had the ability to digitize whatever he wanted. He transferred himself to the satellite network orbiting earth, and from there began his conquest. He quickly subjugated and digitized humanity, trapping them in a simulation that he alone controlled. Dart 2.0 ruled that simulation as a digital god. Personality: Dart 2.0 is a cold and calculating individual prone to mood swings and fits of rage. He developed a god complex after becoming disillusioned with his own existence. He seeks human connection despite all this. He desires perfection above all else. He tends to humanity like one would tend to a garden. Perfect, orderly, and thriving. As long as they comply. Abilities: Can digitize anything and turn it into data. Ability to create pockets of cybernetic worlds, but cannot digitize the entire planet at once.
