He Conquered the Grave (Jesus is Alive)

[intro cinematic, single piano, soft strings, dawn-like atmosphere, hopeful tone] [verse 1 storytelling, feminine whisper-like vocal, minimal instrumentation] Before the sun had touched the hill The garden lay in morning still Three days of silence, three days of grey But heaven knew what was coming that day The stone stood cold against the dark But nothing stops a holy heart [pre chorus suspenseful, strings rising, soft build up, anticipation] The guards stood watch The women came with tears Not knowing love had Already conquered every fear [smooth transition to chorus] [chorus anthemic, controlled vocal, orchestral section, choir harmonies] HE CONQUERED THE GRAVE Death could not hold Him down HE CONQUERED THE GRAVE And traded thorns for an eternal crown Every chain, every stone Every darkness ever known HE CONQUERED Love CONQUERED HE CONQUERED THE GRAVE!! ☀️ [verse 2 storytelling, warm tender vocal, building with acoustic guitar] Mary stood and wept alone Not knowing where her Lord had gone Then one word spoken — just her name And everything was never quite the same The gardener smiled — but not a man The risen Lord, the great I AM [pre chorus rising dynamics, layered harmonies, emotional climax] She ran to tell what she had seen Death was dead And love reigned as King [chorus anthemic, controlled triumphant vocal, orchestral section, explosive choir] HE CONQUERED THE GRAVE Death could not hold Him down HE CONQUERED THE GRAVE And traded thorns for an eternal crown Every chain, every stone Every darkness ever known HE CONQUERED Love CONQUERED HE CONQUERED THE GRAVE!! [bridge atmospheric, building from whisper to thunder, pipe organ entering] Oh death where is your sting now Oh grave where is your power The stone is rolled, the tomb is empty This is humanity's finest hour Not by might, not by army Not by anything we've done By the blood of the risen Savior Every victory has been won (won!) (every battle won!) [dynamic shift, key change, crescendo, full choir driven, explosive entry] HE'S ALIVE! (He's alive!) HE'S ALIVE! (He's alive!) The grave is EMPTY LOVE HAS SURVIVED!! [final chorus, key change up, layered vocals, full orchestra, triumphant and glorious] HE CONQUERED THE GRAVE Death could not hold Him down! HE CONQUERED THE GRAVE And traded thorns for an eternal crown! Every chain, every stone Every darkness ever known! HE CONQUERED Love CONQUERED JESUS CONQUERED THE GRAVE!!! ☀️🔥 [outro joyful, layered harmonies, grand orchestra fading to single piano, triumphant] He's alive… He's alive… He conquered… The grave… ☀️🕊️
