Heroine's Laws
I must be What I am expected to be To smile Even if I'm in pain There's only selflessness And self hatred The world has twisted my heart My sense of self is corrupted I can't tell apart lies from truth A lack of sincerity Causes the blueness of the day to bring dark skies Heroine's laws, shape my identity Heroine's laws, are a leash Heroine's laws, I am blooming wrong Heroine's laws, my heartbeat is lost The world is nice I am the princess of monsters My errors, weren't made with a hidden motive I'm too honest I'm the turbulent sea Judging myself coldly while trying to justify other humans The world is a twisted place I can't catch my breath Heroine's laws, every little mistake is dissected Heroine's laws, my heart is placed on a scale Heroine's laws, my soul is broken Heroine's laws, I go according to the wishes of others My life is not my own Teardrops constantly fall As my sanity fails Give me a reason To not let go of the world I can't do this anymore It's tiring to exist in this way Selflessness is a curse I can't listen to my own pulse I can't find the key to keep smiling Who am I? But an accumulation of wishes I am not myself I have lost my own reflection In the sea of life Heroine's laws, can't be broken Heroine's laws, the first mistake keeps me chained Heroine's laws, it's hard to live freely Heroine's laws, happiness born from myself is nothing, but an illusion Dreams were made to never be achieved Reality can only give what I was not expecting My level of personal happiness Has been down to hell The broken mirror, scattered reflections Broken smiles are a tragedy Feeling nothing is a blessing
