Scrolling through Facebook on a random day, No profile picture, just words on display. I stopped to help, gave her profile a scan, Who knew I’d meet such an amazing woman? Humble and kind, she stole the show, A heart of gold, and now I know, Through life’s storms, she’s been my guide, Mandy’s my friend, my joy, my pride. Mandy, Mandy, the African queen, Lighting up the world with a heart so keen. From Jo’burg skies to friendship’s tune, She lifts me up, shines like the moon. Oh Mandy, Mandy, you’re one of a kind, A treasure so rare, hard to find! At first, no calls, just text on the screen, But I worked my magic, you know what I mean! And there you were, with beauty untold, But it’s your spirit, Mandy, that’s pure gold. When the tears came down, and I felt so low, You stayed by my side, didn’t let me go. On that Zoom call, through my darkest night, You gave me strength, you were my light. Mandy, Mandy, the African queen, Lighting up the world with a heart so keen. From Jo’burg skies to friendship’s tune, She lifts me up, shines like the moon. Oh Mandy, Mandy, you’re one of a kind, A treasure so rare, hard to find! The world needs more Mandys, that’s for sure. Her kindness, her warmth—it’s something pure. Mandy, you’re a legend, a friend so true, This song’s my way of saying, “I appreciate you!” Mandy, Mandy, the African queen, Lighting up the world with a heart so keen.
