[Verse] Donald says a thing or two Suddenly it's big news true Media spins it round like glue Now it's all misconstrued [Verse 2] One thing leads to something wild From grown-up talk to play of child Elephant to a mouse in the wild And his words now exiled [Chorus] It's a purple monkey dishwasher From simple words to wild monster Truth gets lost in all the laughter Purple monkey dishwasher [Verse 3] Don't know where the story goes Confusion like a TV show Turn it up and watch it flow Different from what we know [Bridge] Hear one thing then it's not the same Telephone party playing games Suddenly it's all a flame A news cycle Hall of Shame [Chorus] It's a purple monkey dishwasher From simple words to wild monster Truth gets lost in all the laughter Purple monkey dishwasher
