[Verse 1] I woke up with a choice Same old weight, same old voice But I shook it off fast Let the small stuff pass Saw a stranger hold the door I said thanks, then asked for more More of that easy grace More of that smiling face [Pre-Chorus] If the world gets loud I lean in close Pick the better side You already know [Chorus] Choose joy today Choose kindness, hey (choose joy today) It changes everything Choose joy today And pass it on (choose kindness, hey) That’s where the good gets strong [Verse 2] Met my friend on the curb Looking tired, looking hurt I saved one soft word And watched it lift her up Little light, little spark Make a flower out of dark It’s simple, it’s true What I give comes back to you [Pre-Chorus] If the world gets loud I lean in close Pick the better side You already know [Chorus] Choose joy today Choose kindness, hey (choose joy today) It changes everything Choose joy today And pass it on (choose kindness, hey) That’s where the good gets strong [Bridge] I don’t need perfect days Just a heart that stays Open through the mess Brave enough to bless So when the cold winds blow I let my colors show I can be the spark You can be the spark [Final Chorus] Choose joy today Choose kindness, hey (choose joy today) It changes everything Choose joy today And pass it on (choose kindness, hey) That’s where the good gets strong Choose joy today Right here, right now (choose joy today) We can turn it around
