Tomorrow Counts

[Verse] I know I have more yesterdays than tomorrows And that time ... can not be borrowed So I'll make the most of the time I have left Move forward and cherish every step Not hang on to my many yesterdays But To try and make all my tomorrows great And not to wallow in past success Or regret any of my many loss-ess ... [Chorus] So, I'll leave yesterday behind And make every tomorrow count I'll leave yesterday behind And make every tomorrow count I'll leave yesterday behind And make every tomorrow count I'll leave yesterday behind And make every tomorrow count [Verse] My tomorrows will be less ... than my yesterdays Where I travelled many roads and often lost my way Made choices that caused others pain But still I'm not sure that I wouldn't do it all again 'Cos the things that make me who I am now [dramatic pause] ... could only have ever come about ... By Taking the journey that I have taken The one, that formed the person I've become ... [Chorus] But, I'll leave yesterday behind And make every tomorrow count I'll leave yesterday behind And make every tomorrow count I'll leave yesterday behind And make every tomorrow count I'll leave yesterday behind And make every tomorrow count [Bridge] I'll take my yesterdays and treasure what they gave me Use that to have the strength and wisdom for tomorrow Have fun, love and joy whenever there's the chance Enjoy those who are special and always try to dance [Fade Out] [Outro] I'll leave yesterday behind And make every tomorrow count I'll leave yesterday behind And make every tomorrow count I'll leave yesterday behind And make every tomorrow count I'll leave yesterday behind And make every tomorrow count [End]
