[Verse 1] Early in the morning Down on Maple Lane A blue bus waits for me With my backpack chain I climb up the steps Find my favorite seat Side by side with you We tap our feet [Pre-Chorus] Hear that sleepy hum Feel that little sway Every seat wakes up When we roll away [Chorus] The wheels on the bus go round and round Round and round, round and round (round and round) The wheels on the bus go round and round All through town today Round and round, we go Round and round, we go (round and round) The wheels on the bus go round and round And everybody sings [Verse 2] Window got a sticker Smudge from yesterday Lemon on my sleeve And a seatbelt gray The driver nods once At the corner stop Kids laugh in the back As the backpacks flop [Pre-Chorus] Hear that sleepy hum Feel that little sway Every seat wakes up When we roll away [Chorus] The wheels on the bus go round and round Round and round, round and round (round and round) The wheels on the bus go round and round All through town today Round and round, we go Round and round, we go (round and round) The wheels on the bus go round and round And everybody sings [Bridge] When the rain taps soft On the silver top We keep rolling on We do not stop Side by side, we grin Past the bakery sign One more stop ahead And the world feels mine [Final Chorus] The wheels on the bus go round and round Round and round, round and round (round and round) The wheels on the bus go round and round All through town today Round and round, we go Round and round, we go (round and round) The wheels on the bus go round and round And everybody sings
