[Verse 1] Danny's got a jacket with a skeleton grin, Sandy's dressed in black, let the monsters in. The Pink Ladies are cruising down the boulevard, While Dracula's waiting in his Cadillac car. The Wolfman is howling by the old school gate, Frankenstein is dancing with his monster date. The Mummy's got rhythm, the Phantom's got style, And the Creature's been rocking for a country mile! [Pre-Chorus] The sky starts flashing, The thunder starts crashing, The graveyard's shaking to the beat! The ghosts start jumping, The black cats are bumping, Everybody's moving their feet! [Chorus – Big Doo-Wop Harmonies] Halloween Lightning! (Whoa-oh-oh!) Strikes the night and ignites the show! (Whoa-oh-oh!) Shake your bones, let the sparks fly high, We're gonna rock till the witches fly! Halloween Lightning! (Flash! Flash! Flash!) Feel that thunder, make it last! Turn it up, let the dead come alive, We're gonna rock through Halloween night! [Verse 2] Sandy's got a broomstick, Danny's got a hearse, The Creature's doing hand jive, making matters worse. The vampires are twisting, the zombies are wild, The witches are dancing like a rock 'n' roll child. Rizzo's got a black cat riding shotgun tonight, The T-Birds are racing through the pale moonlight. The principal's screaming, "This party's a crime!" But the monsters keep rocking till the midnight chime!
