In the age of Dharma decline, people crave love songs—melodies that speak of passion and mortality, and they are moved to tears.

但佛語無人問，戒律成負擔，慈悲被視為虛妄。  
Yet no one inquires of the Buddha’s words; precepts are burdensome, and compassion is dismissed as illusion.

若我不以法語入歌，又怎能度那閉耳不聽者？  
If I do not weave Dharma into song, how can I reach those who refuse to listen?

阿難靜坐於世音殿旁，  
Ananda sits silently beside the Avalokiteśvara Hall,

人潮圍聚，只為愛恨詩行，  
Crowds gather—not for truth, but for verses of love and hate.

香火繚繞，卻無人問涅槃之光，  
Incense curls through the air, yet none inquire about the light of Nirvāṇa.

只有情歌，被當作經文頌揚，  
Only love songs are sung as if they were sacred scripture.

魔王低語，立於金塔之下，  
The Demon King whispers, standing beneath the golden stupa:

「世尊莫怪，他們本逐塵沙，若你不唱悲喜情仇，誰肯聽你說空與慈嗎？」  
“Do not blame them, World-Honored One—they chase dust and sand. If you do not sing of joy and sorrow, who would listen to your words of emptiness and compassion?”

他(魔王)，留下毒誓，如樂中藏刀，  
He, the Demon King, leaves a poisonous vow—like a dagger hidden within music.

「末法時，吾子孫將登寶堂，披著袈裟，念著經章，卻藏著貪、瞋、癡的妄想」  
“In the age of Dharma’s decline, my descendants will ascend jeweled halls, don robes, recite sutras, but harbor greed, hatred, and delusion.”

「他們將曲解，你所傳的經網，奪名奪利，爭破功德箱，慈悲如灰，戒律成空想，靈山餘殼，佛法成過往」  
“They will distort your sacred teachings, seize name and profit, raid donation chests. Compassion will turn to ash, precepts to fantasy. Vulture Peak will be a shell; the Dharma, a relic of the past.”

世人啊，你愛聽什麼音？  
O people—what sounds do you love?

是癡戀悲歡，還是無常真音？  
Is it the sorrow of longing, or the true tone of impermanence?

你追逐的光，是舞檯燈？還是心中慧燈？  
The light you chase—is it the spotlight of the stage, or the lamp of inner wisdom?

袈裟之下若無情歌包裝，佛語誰肯聽聞？  
If the robe holds no love song to wrap the Dharma—who would care to listen?

佛不語，只低眉輕笑，  
The Buddha speaks not—only lowers his gaze with a gentle smile,

將四十二章藏於旋律與拍調，  
Hiding the Forty-Two Chapters within rhythm and melody,

空性入副歌，慈悲化詞句，  
Emptiness becomes the chorus; compassion is veiled in verse.

法意未改，只是換了形貌，  
The essence of Dharma unchanged—only its form has shifted.

紅塵為海，曲為渡，歌為橋，  
The world is a sea, the song a ferry, the melody a bridge.

若你有緣，能從俗音中悟道，  
If you have karmic affinity, you may awaken through this worldly sound.

那麼這一曲，也非徒然虛浮！  
Then this song shall not be in vain or hollow!

世人啊，你願聽什麼歌？  
O people—what song are you willing to hear?

若我將涅槃比喻為離別，你是否不再閃躲？  
If I liken Nirvāṇa to farewell, will you no longer shy away?

若我把戒律唱進副歌，你會不會默默聽我？  
If I sing precepts into the chorus, will you silently listen?

Beneath the robe—is it Buddha or demon? The answer lies not outside, but only in your heart.

To seek Bodhi apart from the world is to chase rabbit horns and lose the way!

西天路上八十一難，無字經才是真經，  
On the road to the West lie eighty-one trials—only the wordless sutra is the true scripture.

師徒千里只為取經，未識途中早已圓，  
Master and disciple journeyed a thousand miles for scriptures, unaware their path was already fulfillment.

人人心中有九九劫，跨過才見真佛面，  
Each heart holds ninety-nine trials; only by crossing them do you behold the true Buddha.

取經之道非為抵達，而是踏上那一念！  
The journey for scripture is not in reaching the end—but in taking the first awakened step.

真正佛法，只可意會不可言傳，  
True Dharma can only be realized, never spoken.

真正覺悟，唯有自覺且能覺他人，  
True enlightenment is to awaken oneself—and then awaken others.

若你識得這無聲之音，便知佛早在你心間！  
If you recognize this soundless voice, you will know—the Buddha has always dwelled within your heart!
