Levistus
The Fifth layer of Hell, where no fire burns bright, A whisper stirs beneath the ice-white night. A name the damned still fear to know – Levistus, the traitor below. He rose on words as smooth as sin, A silver smile and a blade within. Cunning and charm were the masks he wore, A prince of deceit from the Stygian shore. He sought what no devil should desire – The consort of Asmodeus, queen of the fire He stole her away to his frozen sea, To worship her beauty, defying decree. But when she turned from his serpent grace, His heart grew cold in that desolate place. Her blood fell black where the white winds moan, And Stygia sealed her name in ice and stone. The Cold-Iron Court rang judgment’s chime, The King decreed his endless crime: “Your flesh to the ice, your mind to remain – Dream of the freedom you’ll never regain.” Levistus! Lord of the Fifth! Entombed within the Styx’s rift! Crown of ice and iron pride – Rage eternal, justified! A thousand years of silence reigned – Ice for his tomb and cold his chain. Through mortal dreams his whispers crept, To those at the brink, to the ones who wept. He offers power for oath and pain, A second life – your soul his chain. Chardalyn promise, Chardalyn vice, Chardalyn gift – your soul the price. Chardalyn whisper, Chardalyn lie, His power yours, heaven denied. Levistus! Whisper and lie! Power’s price – to never die. Chains of frost, yet mind unbowed – His curse resounds, the fallen proud! Hear the cracking roar of the frozen sea, The thunder beneath eternity. Each mortal thought, each desperate vow, Echoes his name in the silence now. The sleepers wake with frost in their veins, Their hearts are drums, their minds his chains. And far below the thunder rolls, A god of ice reclaiming souls. Levistus! Rise from below! Shatter the tomb – let black seas flow! Crown of ice and iron pride – Vengeance burns where justice died! So listen close when the stormwinds cry, A promise murmured before you die. “Swear to me, and rise from pain –” “Serve my will, and live again.”
