[Verse 1] The joy of the Lord is my strong advantage. I’m not annoyed, I will not be damaged; Of the ones who can kill or harm my body, I will not cower, be intimidated, nor afraid; but God persuades they can’t kill my soul; that far, they cannot invade. [Verse 2] I will not worry about the ones who will try to have my feelings hurt. The enemy seeks someone to devour. Of all of these things, I am reminded and alert. I will praise God with all my breath moment by moment, hour by hour. [Verse 3] Spiritually, I am sowing good seeds in the ground; bearing forth good fruit, and worshiping when no one else is around. [Verse 3 continued] I am also praying and believing for things of our Lord; I will not uproot my good seeds I sow. My desires are of him and on his accord; while I’m continually repenting of bad seeds, lo: [Verse 3 continued] God molds me and shapes me to be Christlike; I desire his desires and am childlike; [Verse 4] The enemy wants me to be discouraged of my good sowing, and of what I’m believing for; But because my knowings: I will not uproot, like before. I’m closely getting there; almost. On him, I’ll shut the door. Praise the Lord of hosts. I’ll extol some more. [Verse 5] I will not despise my progress; All have transgressed, nevertheless. [Verse 6] The enemy fears God’s will and good stuff; But I will trust in my Lord who is enough. [Verse 7] I will not be intimidated; patiently, for God, I have waited; [Verse 7 continued] and will yield an abundance of blessings. The only seed I’ll uproot are the bad ones. In God, I am confident without any guessing; Resisting the enemy, they will run.
