🏮End of Humankind Remix🏮Lantern Trails🏮

END OF HUMANKIND Jesus Perspective — Trailblazers Remix [INTRO — WIND / RIVER / CELTIC FLUTE] Lantern Keepers… Gather close. The Earth is speaking. Listen. [VERSE 1 — EARTH / FEMALE SPOKEN-SUNG] As Earth I’ve lived so long, far longer than your minds can grasp. I’ve survived great disasters, mass extinctions in my past. And now it’s you— you humans— who believe you own the Earth, the crown of all creation. You take more. You want more. Now you stand near another mass extinction. You are one species in nature’s great concert, one part of the biosphere, only guests here on me. Learn quickly— BE WORTHY GUESTS. For every species lost, your own survival weakens. You are part of it all— a branch on the tree of life. [EARTH CHORUS — TRANCE BUILD] To me you are only a passing phase. To me you are only an episode. I know this fever well. I know this driving beat. When you scratch me raw, the smallest disappear. The balance starts to weaken. Wake up. WAKE UP. You’re sawing off the branch on which you sit. [MUSIC CUT / THUNDER] [MALE VOICE] And Jesus wept. [WHISPERED CHOIR] “The earth is the Lord’s, and the fulness thereof.” Psalm 24:1. [VERSE 2 — JESUS / BOOM BAP] You thought you were owners— YOU WERE CALLED KEEPERS. Before your towers touched the clouds, forests grew and rivers ran. All creation rested in My Father’s hands. Trees became your numbers. Rivers carried gold. Everything the Father made became something to be sold. But I told you— look at sparrows. Look at lilies. Look around. Not one falls forgotten by My Father to the ground. You weren’t placed here to crush creation. You were placed here— TO TEND. Dress it. Keep it. Guard what’s given. Let the garden mend. [PRE-CHORUS — EARTH / JESUS] [Earth] Can’t you hear me through the mountains? Can’t you hear me through the rain? [Jesus] All creation has been groaning— can you hear its pain? [Earth] Every river. Every forest. [Jesus] Every creature. Every stone. [Both] THE EARTH WAS NEVER YOURS TO OWN! [Jesus] YOU WERE KEEPERS OF HIS HOME! [CHORUS — 160 BPM DROP] [Earth] To me you are only a passing phase! [Jesus] THEN WAKE UP WHILE THERE’S STILL TIME! [Earth] I know this fever! I know this beat! [Jesus] PUT THE AXE DOWN! PLANT THE SEED! [Earth] You’re sawing off the branch on which you sit! [Jesus] THEN TURN AROUND AND CARE FOR IT! [Both] WAKE UP! (WAKE UP!) TURN AROUND! (TURN AROUND!) [Jesus] You thought you were— OWNERS! [Choir] YOU WERE CALLED— KEEPERS! [All] THE EARTH IS THE LORD’S! (THE EARTH IS THE LORD’S!) [POST-CHORUS — STOMP / CELTIC FLUTE] Raise your lantern high! LET THE SLEEPING HEART ARISE! ONE LOVE! ONE FAMILY! ONE JOURNEY! SIDE BY SIDE! [RAP BRIDGE — HARD BOOM BAP] You counted profit. HEAVEN COUNTED SPARROWS. You measured today. HEAVEN SAW TOMORROW. Forest into money. River into gold. Everything the Father made became something to be sold. You saw the branch beneath you, still you sharpened up the blade. But mercy’s standing calling— CHOOSE ANOTHER WAY. Revelation— ELEVEN EIGHTE. There’s a warning on the page. Genesis two— dress it, keep it— THAT WAS ALWAYS THE WAY. Put the axe down! PLANT THE SEED! Guard the water! SERVE THE NEED! Guard the forest! GUARD THE SEAS! Become the keepers YOU WERE CALLED TO BE! [BEAT CUT] “The whole creation groaneth…” Romans eight. Can you hear it? [DROP] THEN DON’T BE LATE! [BREAKDOWN — EARTH / JESUS] [Earth] Your days are numbered. [Jesus] Then number your days IN LOVE. [Earth] Wake up. [Jesus] Come home. [Earth] Protect what remains. [Jesus] Become what you were called to be. [CHOIR] Keepers… Keepers… [FINAL CHORUS — MASSIVE] [Earth] I know this fever! I know this beat! [Jesus] PUT THE AXE DOWN! PLANT THE SEED! [Earth] I hear the silence where life once called! [Jesus] THE FATHER SEES THE SPARROW FALL! [Earth] Wake up! [Jesus] Turn around! [Both] GUARD THIS SACRED GROUND! [Choir] THE EARTH IS THE LORD’S! (THE EARTH IS THE LORD’S!) [Jesus] Not as owners— [Choir] KEEPERS! [Jesus] Not as masters— [Choir] SERVANTS! [All] Guard the river! GUARD THE FOREST! Guard the creatures great and small! For the Father sees the sparrow— AND THE FATHER MADE IT ALL! [FINAL LIFT] [Earth] WAKE UP! [Jesus] COME HOME! [Earth] PROTECT IT! [Jesus] RESTORE! [All] YOU THOUGHT YOU WERE OWNERS— YOU WERE CALLED KEEPERS! RAISE YOUR LANTERN! RAISE IT HIGH! ONE LOVE! ONE FAMILY! ONE JOURNEY! SIDE BY SIDE! [OUTRO — RIVER / CELTIC FLUTE] [Earth] Be worthy guests. [Jesus] Be faithful keepers. [Choir] “Behold… I MAKE ALL THINGS NEW.” [Male] Keep your lantern blazing. One Love • One Family • One Journey.
