What would you do if your spirit was broken And all of your days here on earth where but a dream Your living your days as a rice farmers daughter And I’ve carried your heart to a house by a stream We dreamt where on earth because we are children Who haven’t yet mastered the spirit that flies We dive like a soul with lead weighted wingtips A mouth full of promises , prayers dreams and lies I’m living my days like a tree that is anchored Burrowing deep to prevent the decay A travelling minstrel in lit bright clean forests Would sooth my poor dreams to get through the day The clouds have all vanished , the sun has departed The stars and the moon have all come out to stay My life force diminished , my spirit is leaving I let go of everything , now I’m on my way I dreamt I was human living my daydream I transport to spirit now clear and fey A mix of emotions have left their reflection On shadows and sunlight as my memories fade , fade away.
