[Intro - drum beat like a heart beat] [Verse 1] It seems like all is lost in this world. The news makes us cower in fear. The powers want us to shrink out of sight, They want us to disappear. But there are those who do work for good. They're out on the streets fighting back. Not with swords, or guns, or weapons of war, But with songs that hold hatred back. [Chorus] Those who make peace sow seeds of justice. And where those seeds fall, trees of peace rise. Beneath their branches that sing in the wind We rest in love where Joy abides. [Verse 2] They send us to war to make us look strong But war won't mend what's been done. To seek peace and love seems foolish at best Why sow seeds of peace at all? But if you stop and say, No to war You might start to hear a soft song. The more it is sung, the louder it grows, Resistance is singing along. [Chorus] Those who make peace sow seeds of justice. And where those seeds fall, trees of peace rise. Beneath their branches that sing in the wind We rest in love where Joy abides. [outro] Those who make peace sow seeds of justice. Those who make peace sow seeds of justice. In the shade of peace and mercy, we will sing the song that goes on.
