Note: This is an instrumental, and thus doesn't have any lyrics - I'm keeping this for notes on what I'm doing with Suno. - "electroswing" as a tag is variably received by Suno, and isn't really proper electro swing - it's much closer to jazz standard style jazz - some repetitions, but no real focus on the drumkit. - to get the 2010s era electroswing style, electroswing+house is nearly required, or something equivalent to that. Yes, that's repeating itself - electroswing is jazz samples on a house beat - but it genuinely works a lot better than "electroswing" or "electro swing" - the latter gives me a swing song with electronic instruments or something polka-sounding. Unfortunately because of that structure (especially if I want to do genre shifts), it means I can't really do a customized style box, so it's back to genres I go. - [syncopation] is basically required as a metatag to give you something with the swing groove, as left alone it'll give you a straight 4/4. Well, it gives me swing more often than not now, but I've also done SO MANY electroswing songs (and I pin by thumbs-up so I'm basically training the model at the same time, win-win). - I favor [heavy syncopation] - I need to test [enhance syncopation to maximum] to see if that works similarly - [drop]/[beat drop]/[breakdown] in electro swing works completely differently, though in other genres they're identical or at least reasonably similar. [drop] is a brass/sax favored drop, [beat drop] leans harder into house drops, and [breakdown] tends to go into half-time or just go downtempo. The latter makes sense, as I believe it's the opposite metatag to [build-up] - [build-up] - with hyphen - underlying multiple extends in a row makes for VERY sneaky genre shifts. Coffeepress is 3 extends, the first one is just extremely long and using [build-up] throughout.
