I woke up early, dusted off my skin Put a shiny little smile where my jaw has been My head’s a giant pumpkin, carved up nice and neat Got flickering candles shining in my eyes so sweet! I’m crawling out the graveyard, stepping on the scene It’s the only night of the year Happy Halloween! Normally people run, normally people scream When they see a zombie walking in a fever dream. But tonight is different, tonight I’m on the floor And everybody’s screaming, "Give us more, more, more!" Nobody’s scared of me tonight! Dancing under the neon light! They think it’s just a costume, they think it’s all pretend Every single human wants to be my friend! They say, "Awesome mask, bro!" and pass the trick-or-treat A zombie pumpkin dancing to the EDM beat! Yeah, nobody's scared, nobody's running away! I’m the king of the party, at least for today! Pump-pumpkin head! Candle in the eyes! Dance, dance, dance,no big surprise! Trick or treat! Pass the sweet! Zombie moving on two left feet! Got a bag full of chocolate, candy bars galore Moonwalking sideways across the disco floor I don’t need a fancy suit, I don’t need a mask "Who’s your designer?" all the party people ask! I just laugh a pumpkin laugh, glowing bright and yellow Just a friendly neighborhood undead fellow! The clock is ticking down, the midnight hour is near The sun will come up soon, and end my favorite time of year. Tomorrow I’ll go back... under the highway bridge, To my cozy cardboard box from a giant fridge. I’ll wrap myself up tight and close my glowing eyes, And wait another 365. It’s a little bit funny, a little bit sad... But man, tonight’s the best night I ever had! Nobody’s scared of me tonight! Dancing under the neon light! They think it’s just a costume, they think it’s all pretend Every single human wants to be my friend! They say, "Awesome mask, bro!" and pass the trick-or-treat A zombie pumpkin dancing to the EDM beat! Back to my fridge box... under the beam... Goodnight, everybody... Happy Halloween!
