[Verse 1] When the sun comes up a-shinin', or the storms begin to brew, When my spirit's feelin' weary, or my heart is feelin' blue, There's a whisper in the quiet, a still, small voice I hear, Tellin' me to lean on Jesus, banish every doubt and fear. It ain't about the words I fashion, or the eloquence I bring, It's just pourin' out my troubles to the One who truly is King. [Chorus] Oh, the power of a prayer, just a whisper or a plea, Breakin' through the darkness, settin' burdened spirits free. It's the lifeline to the Father, when you're lost upon the way, It's the strength to face tomorrow, and the grace to live today. So open up your heart, friend, let your worries disappear, There's nothin' too big for heaven, for the Father to hear. [Verse 2] Sometimes I feel so able, like I can conquer every hill, And I forget to bend my knee, to seek His perfect will. Then a stumble or a failure, brings me back down to the ground, Remindin' me where real help, and true wisdom can be found. It ain't a magic formula, or a spell you gotta cast, It's just humble conversation, a bond that's built to last. [Bridge] From the mountain high to the valley low, from the mornin' to the night, He's waitin' there to listen, to make your pathway bright. For the lost and for the lonely, for the sick and for the weak, There's comfort and there's healing in the words our spirits speak. [Outro] So keep on prayin', brother, keep on prayin', sister too, His ear is always open, His love will see you through. Yeah, His love will see you through.
