Fractal Machine - Horizon of the Blind

The lens is polished. The mechanisms set. Waiting for the optics to find the edge of the universe. Searching for the final boundary. The absolute limit. The illusion of looking outward. Light travels billions of years, just to bring the same debris. More stone, more plasma, the same dead geometry. We swap out the lenses, shift the focus to the small, But the horizon just recedes, an impassable wall. The edge of it all isn't out in the black! It rests on the glass where the eye stares back! A telescope, a microscope, the exact same trail, But all I can process is my native scale! Searching for grandeur, blind to my true state. My cells are vibrating beneath their own weight. A giant, blind Carrier, a host for the deep, With no eyes to witness the systems I keep. The edge of it all isn't out in the black! It rests on the glass where the eye stares back! A telescope, a microscope, the exact same trail, But all I can process is my native scale! I cannot see what exists within my atoms! And I will never see the one who holds me as a fraction of mass! This blindness is a physical law! My perception is a closed system, tuned to a single layer! LOCKED IN! Isolated in this layer! Infinity crushes from above! Infinity pushes from within! A blind Carrier! An oblivious container! There is no edge! Only the suffocating truth... I am a blind link in an endless chain! The void is not a frontier. It is a wall. A billion light years of empty space... Folded into a cage.
