[Verse 1] Be nice Be kind When they cut you in line When they shout your name wrong When they’re having a bad day Be calm Be soft When the tempers kick off When the room feels heavy And you just want to walk away [Chorus] Be nice Be kind Be loving to everyone Even when they turn their back and run Your actions may be the only Jesus they ever see So let that mercy move your hands and feet Yeah Your actions may be the only Jesus they ever see [Verse 2] Be brave Forgive In the way that you live In the way that you answer When they talk behind your back Bless those who curse Give your best Not your worst Let your grace be louder Than the hurt that they attack [Chorus] Be nice Be kind Be loving to everyone Even when they turn their back and run Your actions may be the only Jesus they ever see So let that mercy move your hands and feet Yeah Your actions may be the only Jesus they ever see [Bridge] When it feels unfair (oh-oh) When you want revenge Remember how you’ve been carried Again and again Let the love you’ve known Flow out so free ’Cause your heart might be the only Bible Someone reads [Chorus] Be nice Be kind Be loving to everyone Even when they turn their back and run Your actions may be the only Jesus they ever see So let that mercy move your hands and feet Yeah Your actions may be the only Jesus they ever see
