Made by @jorshua What are 'The Underground Gens'? These are songs that have been completed but are slightly experimental, have audio issues or just don't quite fit the standard I set before releasing something. These will just be released over time and likely won't be promoted beyond the initial release What's wrong with this one? It had some structural problems, and ended up being too short for my liking. Shimmer wasn't too bad but the deterioration stopped me from going any further

Wow... this is really absorbing and amazing. The lyrics are so good and the vocals are amazing. I absolutely love it. It ended just fine, but I could have listen to another 5 minutes of it. It is fanatstic. ✨

Ah! so the sssttrrrrsss brrttss static is called shimmer. Was doing my head in on a song I made, and trashed. Anyway, lovely song Jorshua!

The sparkly almost video game sound (at 1:45) is the shimmer, and it's usually caused by cymbals or snare drums. The degradation/deterioration is when the instruments start to lose clarity, like an electric guitar sounding like a bass by the end of a song, the audio starts to get really hard on the ears and noise/hiss starts to take over everything
