"Let Me Be Rain" is my contribution to the Autism Awareness Month, created out of deep respect for the many ways people experience the world. I wanted to capture the feeling of moving freely, without needing to hide or change who you are. The song uses "rain" as a metaphor for authenticity, unpredictability, and natural freedom - rain doesn’t ask for permission to fall; it simply exists, beautiful in all its forms. "Let Me Be Rain" celebrates the beauty of living outside conventional expectations. This song is my way of saying: You don't have to fit a frame to be loved. Your true self is enough - just like the rain, wild, real, and full of quiet strength. [Pre-Chorus] Don’t draw a box around my soul, My world is round, and full, and whole. [Post-Chorus] Let me be rain... Let me be rain... Let me be rain (not lost, just drifting free) Let me be rain (the truest form of me) Let me be rain (not broken, just untamed) Let me be rain (and love me, not the same.) [Post-Chorus] Let me be rain... Let me be rain... Let me be rain... [Verse 2] I walk on lines you never see, Between the noise and clarity. I breathe in rhythms not your own, In silence, I have fully grown. [Pre-Chorus] Don’t ask me to be crystal clear, My truth speaks loud, though hard to hear. [Chorus] Let me be rain... Let me be rain... Let me be rain (not bound to fall the same) Let me be rain (not made to fit a frame) [Post-Chorus] Let me be rain... Let me be rain... Let me be rain... [Final-Chorus] Let me be rain (not lost, just drifting free) Let me be rain (not made to fit a frame) Let me be rain... END]
