[verse 1] You’ve shown us the way to show your people that you love them. You’ve shown us the way to show them that you care - about much more than Sunday morning prayer. And, if we seek, you will save us from our cares. [chorus] You’ve shown us the way to go. You’ve given us grace to know. Guide us each day, and help us do what’s right. [verse 2] We have your Word to help us see your wisdom. Your faithfulness guides and lights our path each day. When we pray you will help us find the way. Give us strength to hold on ‘til it’s day. [chorus] You’ve shown us the way to go. You’ve given us grace to know Oh, guide us this day and help us shine your light. [verse 3] And when the darkness seems too much to bear Reach your hand out – let us know you’re there. And when the trials seem to come and stay Hold us close and make a way. Keep us with you, Lord don’t let us stray Take our old ways – let them pass away. Mold us gently ‘til we show your face. Hold us close and make a way. [chorus] You’ve shown us the way to go. You’ve given us grace to know. Lord, guide us each day, and help us do what’s right. Yes, guide us this day, and help us shine your light.
