I thought an open door would mean a clear road, No heavy hands, no extra weight to hold. But there’s a chance to serve, somebody needs the truth, And a thousand reasons telling me to move. I see the work, I hear the rising noise, I need Your wisdom underneath those voices. Before I run, before I call this done, Remind me why I came and whom I’m serving for. Give me courage without pride, Give me patience for the climb. Keep my heart close to Yours— There’s resistance at the door.
