Which Kingdom Am I Nourishing
[SPOKEN NARRATION—DO NOT SING] What if Babylon does not fall before Zion begins? What if both kingdoms are growing right now—in the same world, inside the same churches, and perhaps even inside you? Jesus warned that the wheat and the tares would grow together until the harvest. And when that harvest comes, our labels will not reveal who we are. Our fruit will. Babylon is more than a wicked city. It is a way of living that values possessions over people, control over conscience, competition over cooperation, and institutions over families. The Nemenhah Records call it Pahbaylohn. Yet while Babylon grows, something quieter is also taking root. Mor-oh-nigh — saw one person here, one person there, one family here and another family there, coming out of Pahbaylohn and beginning to establish Tsiahn—Enduring Peace. Zion may not begin with a great announcement. It may begin when one person hears the Peacemaker and follows His voice. It grows when a family shares its abundance, when a neighbor lifts someone in need, when a council refuses compulsion, and when ordinary people choose service instead of dominion. But the tares can look like wheat. A movement may speak of Zion, gathering, consecration, revelation, and refuge—while producing fear, control, pride, and inequality. Jesus gave us the test: “Ye shall know them by their fruits.” The wheat will not be identified by the name of its church, movement, or organization. Neither will the tares. The fruit will reveal everything. So perhaps the most important question is not, “When will Babylon fall?” It is: “Which kingdom am I nourishing within myself today?” [SUNG—ONLY THESE TWO SENTENCES] Let the wheat grow strong with the Peacemaker’s light. The fruit will reveal what is true in His sight.
