Make a little room here comes the procession. Not invited? That’s never stopped us. (Ha ha ha) Yeah, we’re the forgotten Slip on right through the middle, Some too notorious, Some too difficult. Someone blackened every blessing. Someone taught the dark to hold Someone should have really known better... …than to try and bury doomed souls. (ha ha ha) One for the rumor, two for the record, three for the ones they cancelled out. Damned. Disgraced. Discarded. Present. (Ha ha ha) Well, being damned has its benefits. Blame wears remarkably thin. Scandal sits so well on the deceased We've had years to settle it in. Bad habits, bad dealings And “just” enough unfinished business To keep the evening interesting. (Ha!) Damned. Disgraced. Discarded Still paying attention? …good. (Ha ha ha) Roll call running past midnight, The Quarter has lost its mind. Windows wide, shutters shaking The dead run on different time. One by one, then twenty deep, First the damned, then disgraced. Then discarded, dragged along— oh, all those condemned, still not moving on. Damned! Disgraced! Discarded! Yeah, who’s that comin’? Damned! Disgraced! Discarded! We’re here… You know what they never tell you? Being condemned is only frightening the first time. After that.. you start noticing who did the condemning. And that that can be very educational. They wanted us gone. Buried. Erased. Erased didn’t take. Buried never stood a chance. And gone... ...was wishful thinking. DAMNED! DISGRACED! DISCARDED! Yeah, good behavior lost its leverage somewhere dark, six feet down. Now the ones they called “improper” have taken over the town. Who, exactly, plans to stop us? Take your time—I’m fascinated. Half the Quarter’s dancing with us. Half still swears they didn't. Damned! Disgraced! Discarded! Make a little room ..we brought everyone. (Ha... ha ha ha.)
