[Intro] Alright, everybody—when I say Simon, you say says! [Verse 1] Simon walks out with a cable-tied guitar Bandana low, but he knows where you are He points to the left, and the whole floor turns One crooked grin and the house lights burn He says, "Hands up high!"—you throw them skyward He says, "Make some noise!"—you answer harder Every little order becomes a celebration A one-man game with a thousand voices waiting [Pre-Chorus] You came for the song, but you stayed for the dare He calls your name and you’re already there [Chorus] Simon says—jump, and you jump like thunder Simon says—sing, and the roof comes under Simon says—turn that room into a wild parade You give him your hearts, he gives you the game Simon says—hey! [Hey!] Simon says—ho! [Ho!] Simon says—one more time, don’t let it go [Verse 2] He says, "Point to the person you came here with" You point, you laugh, you pull them in close He says, "Whistle till the back row hears" A thousand bright arrows cut through the atmosphere No velvet rope, no distance, no throne Just scuffed-up boots and a microphone He knows devotion by the way you shout And every new command pulls the truth right out [Pre-Chorus] You came with your worries folded in your coat Now every voice is keeping you afloat [Chorus] Simon says—jump, and you jump like thunder Simon says—sing, and the roof comes under Simon says—turn that room into a wild parade You give him your hearts, he gives you the game Simon says—hey! [Hey!] Simon says—ho! [Ho!] Simon says—one more time, don’t let it go [Bridge] Simon says, "Close your eyes, remember why you came" The room goes quiet, then it catches flame Simon says, "Open up, let the whole world know" You answer with a roar that shakes the floor below He doesn’t need a crown, he doesn’t need a throne With you behind him, he is never alone [Final Chorus] Simon says—jump, and you jump like thunder Simon says—sing, and the roof comes under Simon says—turn that room into a wild parade You give him your hearts, he gives you the game Simon says—hey! [Hey!] Simon says—ho! [Ho!] Simon says—one more time, don’t let it go [Outro] Simon says, "Thank you!" [Fans: Simon says!] Simon says, "Goodnight!" [Fans: Not tonight!] One last whistle for the love you gave Simon says—and you answer brave
