Stages

[Verse 1] Each step in the stairway Is as far as it goes You can't make it the whole way Not until the next one shows [Verse 2] Don't stand still or hold tight Or be so stuck in your past When your last step is behind you Let it go because it won't last [Chorus] Oh That's life I know Life takes us where we have to go When one thing ends There's something else Waiting for us to know And it's always been this way It's a constant game that life will play When one thing ends There's something else Waiting for us today [Verse 3] Life calls us to grow up To leave our comfort zones To get what we're meant for We must move out of what we've known [Verse 4] Don't look back Don't lose faith There are some things you won't know It's just the way it goes [Chorus] Oh That's life I know Life takes us where we have to go When one thing ends There's something else Waiting for us to know And it's always been this way It's a constant game that life will play When one thing ends There's something else Waiting for us today
