[spoken word] Close your eyes. Let the world withdraw. The echoes can wait. The names can wait. Now, only your breath remains. Inhale... as if you are drawing breath from the deepest point of your being. Exhale... as if the world were exhaling you. Again. Let the breath become a tether. You are safe to descend. There is a staircase within you. Unmarked. Unmapped. A descent not into darkness... but into truth unspoken. Begin the descent. Step by step. Feel each one. There is no need to rush. Let the silence walk beside you. With every step, something falls away— A name you never chose. A pain you were never allowed to voice. A mask you wore to survive. They fall gently behind you. Now— You arrive at a threshold. No door. Just a pulse. A soft thrum, as if the marrow of your bones remembers something you forgot. Place your hand on your chest. Listen with it. Not for answers. Not for language. But for the yes of your body. There is a map here. Not of places. Of ache. Of silence. Of becoming. Stay. Just a moment more. Let the pulse become breath again. And when you are ready— Not to return, but to remember— Gently open your eyes. And carry the map within you. You are not lost. You are unfolding.
