So, there's this 'ere building in Paignton 62 to 70 Victoria Street (the clue's in the name) It's a bit old (like 1895 ish) Right in the centre of the town's heritage It used to look great... now it looks like crap (real crap) They tried to knock it down but people with sense stopped that The Council could've bought it but they said (er...um...... no thanks) The first thing you see when you walk out of the train station Welcome to Paignton... we love you so much... we show you crap I'm not going to say Torbay Council's to blame (but they are, of course) {I wanna cry} There used to be a disco... but that closed... dancin' stopped The Council don't dance (too old... what? Say it ain't so!!) They tried to knock it down but people with sense stopped that The Council could've bought it but they said (er...um...... no thanks) Is it any wonder people feel no pride? (I'm really proud of that... .... ... .... crap) Fix it! Rocket science it ain't... jeez Do we want to welcome tourists (for the economy, or not?)
