V6

[INTRO - shortwave hiss, low surf, detuned choir] [ARCHIVE, calm] Record eighty-seven. The waters spread. The foundations give way. The land disappears. Only the peaks remain. [FCA, low spoken] They told me civilization disappeared. Funny. Civilizations disappear. Symbols don't. Letters survive. Songs survive. Bad ideas survive incredibly well. And somewhere inside an alphabet, a dead man claimed the ocean was still talking. [CHOIR, whispered] MU. MU. MU. [VERSE 1 - kick enters in fragments] Alpha drew a line in sand. Beta built a temple. Gamma watched the water rise. Delta made it simple. Read them forward. Read them wrong. Turn catastrophe into song. Somebody buried the flood inside the letters. Or maybe somebody just wanted it there. Either way, I found the signal. And now I'm on air. [PRE-CHORUS - acid line coils upward] Is it history? Maybe not. Is it scripture? Probably not. Is it beautiful? Unfortunately. YES. [DROP 1 - full kick, wide choir] MU MU UNDER THE TIDE SOMEBODY HID A FLOOD INSIDE ALPHA BETA GAMMA DELTA TURN THE LETTERS AND READ THE WATER MU MU UNDER THE TIDE THE SHORELINE BREAKS THE SYMBOLS SURVIVE READ THE ORDER READ THE SCAR THE ALPHABET REMEMBERS FAR [BREAK - drums strip away] [ARCHIVE] The peaks appear. Whirlwinds move. Cold air follows. Valleys become depths. Mud forms. A mouth opens. Vapors pour forth. Volcanic sediments. [FCA] Right. Normal alphabet. Completely normal alphabet. Please return to work. [ARCHIVE - fragments through static] Epsilon: the waters spread. Zeta: the earth is struck. Eta: everything moves. Theta: everything sinks. Iota: the peaks remain. Kappa: the winds arrive. Lambda: the valleys deepen. Mu: [STATIC BURST] [FCA] Hold on. Did you just say Mu? [ARCHIVE] Affirmative. [FCA] Of course you did. [ACID LINE RE-ENTERS] LETTER BY LETTER. ROOT BY ROOT. CLAIM BY CLAIM. CUT BY CUT. IF THE STORY NEEDS BELIEF, LET IT DROWN. IF THE IMAGE STILL SURVIVES, TURN IT UP. [VERSE 2 - bass pulses, percussion rebuilds] Archaeologist says: No. Occultist says: Obviously. Poet says: Shut up. I'm sampling both of you. Churchward drew continents. The page became a map. The map became a myth. The myth became a trap. Unless you cut it open. Unless you leave it loose. Unless you keep the image and refuse the final proof. So read the root. Read the claim. Read the way the meanings change. Read the choices. Read the gaps. Read the hand that drew the map. [PRE-CHORUS 2 - snare rolls tighten] THE HISTORIAN SAYS: SHOW ME THE EVIDENCE. THE POET SAYS: SHOW ME THE PATTERN. THE FOOL SAYS: WHY ARE YOU MAKING ME CHOOSE? [DROP 2 - acid surges] MU MU UNDER THE TIDE SOMEBODY HID A FLOOD INSIDE ALPHA BETA GAMMA DELTA TURN THE LETTERS AND READ THE WATER MU MU CALLING AGAIN NOT FROM A THRONE NOT FROM A GOD FROM AN OLD MAN'S PAGE AND A VERY STRANGE THOUGHT [BRIDGE - low drone, voice close] A pattern can sing without being proof. A symbol can move you without owning the truth. A myth can be useful without ruling the room. A story can bloom from a questionable root. So cut inward first. Let certainty bleed. Keep what opens the cage. Burn what demands belief. [ARCHIVE, clinical] There is no accepted evidence that the Greek alphabet contains a historical record of the destruction of Mu. [FCA] Correct. [ARCHIVE] Or that Mu existed as Churchward described it. [FCA] Also correct. [ARCHIVE] Then why preserve the story? [LONG PAUSE] [FCA] Because the story survived the cut. [BUILD 3 - kick returns, choir rises] Not as archaeology. Not as law. Not as proof of what anyone saw. As image. As riddle. As cultural debris. As one impossible story washed back from the sea. Letters become ruins. Ruins become sound. Sound becomes signal when nobody's around. The transmitter dies. The receiver arrives. Context collapses. The fragment survives. [FINAL CHORUS - full choir, drums open] MU MU UNDER THE TIDE SOMEBODY HID A FLOOD INSIDE ALPHA BETA GAMMA DELTA TURN THE LETTERS AND READ THE WATER MU MU NEVER DIED NOT AS A KINGDOM NOT AS A GUIDE THE ALPHABET DOESN'T PROVE MU THE ALPHABET REMEMBERS MU READ THE SIGNAL TEST THE CLAIM KEEP THE WONDER CUT THE FRAME LET THE SYMBOL STAY ALIVE WITHOUT MAKING YOU BELIEVE THE LIE MU MU UNDER THE TIDE THE CONTINENT SANK BUT THE QUESTION SURVIVED [SHORT OUTRO - surf and radio hiss] [FCA] Was the message intentional? [STATIC] Was the pattern real? [STATIC] Did the idea survive? [CHOIR, distant] MU. [FCA] Good enough. Transmission ends. [END]
